10. CIRIC - Moving Image Wales - Project Overview
Moving Image Wales (MIW) is based within the existing Creative Industries Research and Innovation Centre, which is a dedicated Research &: Development facility based at Swansea Metropolitan University. Moving Image Wales specialises in the latest advanced in digital multimedia creation to overcome specific market and industry failures that were identified in an earlier A4B feasibility study.
The aim of Moving Image Wales are to support Welsh companies in production and post-production workflow, allowing them to take advantage of the latest technologies such as RED One cameras as well as being a technical and practical resource support which allows Welsh media companies to exploit other national and international funding markets.
