Centre for Professional development for Supply Teachers
This centre has been set up between Swansea Metropolitan University and Trinity University College, Carmarthen after a gap in the provision of CPD training for supply teachers was identified.
CPD training is provided as a matter of course for teachers in permanent posts but is rarely in place for supply teachers. This centre will ensure that supply teachers are provided with comparable opportunities to update their skills and keep their knowledge up to date.
