South West Wales Vocational Support Initiative
The South West Wales Vocational Support Initiative is led by Trinity University College, Carmarthen in partnership with Swansea Metropolitan University, Lampeter University, Pembrokeshire College, Coleg Sir Gar, Swansea College, Gorseinon College and Neath Port Talbot College, with the support of Mid and West Wales Chamber, South Wales Chamber of Commerce, Business in the Community, Careers Wales West, Gallu and Ffres Food Tourism Group.
The project aims to simplify access for businesses to the full range of practical support and vocationally targeted training offered by the partners to help them manage the current economic crisis. Businesses can receive bespoke management level training and/or consultancy support in any area of their business operation at significantly reduced costs.
Who is eligible?
All businesses and organisations in the South West Wales region are eligible although support is primarily aimed towards SMEs
How long does it last?
The scheme will run up until February 2011 at present.
How much does it cost?
Costs vary depending on the training/consultancy delivered.
